Jordin Jacobie Coles, an 18-year-old from Pleasant Grove, Alabama, has died following a serious crash on Interstate 65 in Birmingham, leaving family, friends, and members of the community mourning his passing.
According to Birmingham police and the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the crash involved two vehicles and a motorcycle on the northbound lanes of I-65 near the University Boulevard exit. Coles was identified as one of the people involved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred during the early morning hours, and authorities closed part of the interstate while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene.
