A construction worker has died after being struck by a vehicle while working along Interstate 275 near Springdale, Ohio, early Friday morning, September 18, 2026.
The fatal crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. near mile marker 42, according to the Springdale Police Department. The worker was in the area as part of ongoing construction activity when he was hit by a vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the worker to Bethesda North Hospital. Despite efforts to treat his injuries, he later died.
